Gail is a third generation Colorado native and graduated from the Colorado State University with a degree in Political and Social Economics. Gail has run the business affairs for the law firm for the past Sixteen years, and is responsible for the accounting, the employee benefits and the administrative staff. Gail has a long and successful background in computers and worked in the past for the Bell Atlantic Corporation and then as a private trainer in computer software. Gail is the client liaison for the law firms accounting, and should be contacted with any questions on invoicing or expenses.

Linda Moore
Assistant Business Manager
Linda is a twelve year resident of Colorado, with 5 years of experience with a software development firm and the last 4 years with Lasater and Martin. Linda moved to Denver from Seattle where she worked in the telecommunications business for 15 years. She is married with 2 daughters and two Jack Russell Terriers.

Jason has been with Lasater and Martin for 3 years. Jason started out as a Personal Injury and Construction Defect Paralegal. As Litigation Manager, Jason now assists with the day-to-day activities and operations of the law firm; including calendaring deadlines on all the firms’ cases. Jason has previous experience as a Criminal and Estate Paralegal. Prior to Jason’s legal career, he worked 15 in years in professional baseball as a clubhouse and equipment assistant manager for the Denver Zephyrs and Colorado Rockies.
Jason is a Colorado native. Jason is married with a three children. When not spending time with his family Jason is an avid fisherman and golfer.

Laura Lopuch joined Lasater & Martin, P.C. in October 2008 as the file clerk. She was in charge of document and file control, opening and closing files, and file cohesion and comprehension. In October 2009 she became Scott’s legal assistant. Now she drafts pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence, readies documents for disclosures, assists the attorneys with projects and in trial preparation, and competently handles Scott’s hectic schedule. Her background in writing has honed her proofreading and writing skills and strengthened the analytical thinking necessary in the legal world. She has a sharp eye for detail and will tackle any challenge. Frequently she serves as the firm’s proofreader on sensitive documents. While working at Lasater & Martin, Laura has assisted in handling cases on premises liability, motor vehicle collision and breach of contract.
Laura graduated from Montana State University in 2007 with a B.A. in English Literature. In college, she excelled academically and was frequently named on the Dean’s List. During all four years of college, she worked two jobs, in the service industry as a waitress or barista. She also taught private piano lessons for two years, and wrote freelance. In 2008 she moved to Colorado from Montana with her husband, two dogs and one cat.

Tarrin was born and raised in Durban, South Africa and moved to Denver in 1993 to obtain her Paralegal Degree. Since graduating in 1996, she has worked as a paralegal in both the insurance defense and construction defect litigation fields. Tarrin also lived in the Cayman Islands from 1997 to 2000, where she worked for the partner of a very prominent law firm and was involved in commercial and corporate law, as well as real estate and mortgage transactions.
After moving from the Cayman Islands to her husband’s home in Texas, Tarrin worked for the senior partner of an insurance defense law firm, who represented large manufacturing corporations, including elevator manufacturers and HVAC manufacturers. During that time, she was also very involved in some asbestos litigation. Finally, in 2000, Tarrin returned to her “home away from home” in Denver, where she worked for the senior partner of a large insurance defense law firm in Denver, who represents the largest retailer in their tort litigation in Colorado, and was involved in many personal injury litigation, bad faith and wrongful death suits.
Tarrin brings her experience in both the home building and litigation industries to the world of construction defect litigation, and has enjoyed being involved in numerous cases involving large multi-family projects. She has also had firsthand experience in building a home with Habitat for Humanity.

Georgia is a Colorado native with over 5 years experience in the legal field. Georgia previously worked at a Municipal Court and has law firm experience in criminal, domestic and civil litigation. On weekends Georgia can be found with her family enjoying indoor and outdoor activities all over Colorado. Georgia also enjoys photography and there is never a lack of captured memories.

Tom is a third Generation Colorado native, who grew up on the plains of Northeastern Colorado.
Tom’s family include his wife Karen, two fantastic sons and a Portuguese Water Dog.
Tom and his family enjoy Standup Paddle boarding, windsurfing and surfing when near the ocean. When he’s not in the water he can be found either hiking and biking or enjoying his latest hobby, Long boarding

Megan Buckley joined Lasater and Martin in September of 2009. Megan handles all of the filing for the firms’ cases. She is in charge of large scale document organization and management, drafting letters, opening and closing case files, file management, and assisting with trial preparation. Megan is detail-oriented, hardworking and organized.
Megan is currently attending Arapahoe Community College’s paralegal certificate program. She graduated from the University of Colorado in May 2009 with a B.S. in Journalism and a minor in History. During college, Megan received a scholarship for her work in the CU Sports Information Office.
Megan is a Colorado native who spends her spare time with friends and family, reading, and enjoying the outdoors with her dog and fiancé.

Jennifer Bartelson received her paralegal degree in 1996 and has over 13 years of experience in a range of litigation and non-litigation matters, including construction defect, personal injury, commercial real estate, bankruptcy, family law and ethics. Jennifer worked for the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel for 7 years, assisting in the investigation, discipline and prosecution of attorneys in violation of the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct. Her background, knowledge, and experience all combine to make her proficient in the management of all aspects of the litigation process including drafting filings in state, federal, and appellate courts; managing discovery issues; deposition preparation; document productions; and trial preparation and support.
Jennifer was raised in Colorado Springs where she met her husband of 13 years, Jonathan. Jennifer and her husband live in Lakewood and enjoy spending time with their six year old son, two dachshunds and enjoy hockey, camping, and hiking.

Laura brings to Lasater & Martin a wealth of knowledge from her 10 year experience working in the legal field. Laura’s background includes working in various different areas, including, insurance defense, covenant enforcement, probate matters, bankruptcy, and family law.
Immediately before joining Lasater & Martin, Laura worked for three years at a large firm in Arvada working directly for one of the firm’s partners. Laura has managed litigation cases in both state and federal courts. Laura’s valuable experience includes working closely with clients during the course of litigation and assisting attorneys through trial, as well as wrapping up post judgment matters.
Prior to working in the legal field Laura was a flight attendant for USAfrica Airways and AirTran Airways for a total of 9 years. This experience working with the public has provided her excellent communication skills with people from all different backgrounds. In 2006 Laura co-produced the musical Chicago and assisted the lighting and sound technicians.
In Laura’s free time, she enjoys running racing events. Laura and her husband enjoy traveling, sipping wine, and trying new foods. Laura is also involved with a local non-profit organization creating handmade bags to raise money for soldiers suffering PTSD.

Bryce Dana grew up in northern Illinois. After High School he worked for 4 years as a Firefighter/EMT/Paramedic. He then moved to Colorado to attend Colorado Christian University. After receiving his B.A. in Psychology with a Biology Minor he then went on to earn his Paralegal Certificate.
Before coming to Lasater and Marin Bryce worked for two years in Medical Mal-Practice Defense. His knowledge of both Law and Medicine is utilized while working on cases.
When not in the office Bryce can be found on the ice either coaching or playing hockey.
